I started my business in San Francisco in 2009. Specializing in small dogs under 40 pounds, over the years I’ve grown a special talent for bringing shy dogs out of their shell. I care for dogs of all ages, from wild and crazy puppies to the elderly who just like to snooze in the sun. Some of the now distinguished senior dogs in my care started with me as boisterous puppies. Each dog is unique in their needs and I strive to make every one of them feel comfortable. I always try to be flexible and understanding of your needs as well.

My goal is for your dog to look forward to their visit, to feel that my home is their home, and for you to be able to travel without worry.

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood by China Camp State Park. We have a large securely fenced-in yard with a double gate for extra security. We have endless walking trails nearby that are great for dogs.

I began walking dogs at a very young age! My mom worked at a local college in northern Ohio organizing the veterinary technology department. On weekends I would go with her to walk the rescue dogs that the students were treating, readying them for adoption. From a young age I learned how to gain the trust of a scared and nervous dog. In so many ways, this experience set me up for a career that I love and get endless joy from.

As a person who is small in stature, it was a no-brainer to specialize in the wee variety of dog. Not only does this ensure that I’m always in control but it also ensures the comfort of the dogs on leash. The smaller dogs don’t get pulled around by larger dogs on walks, and in play they can safely tear around yard or park around the without accidentally getting stepped on by a big paw.
I find so many benefits from the dogs being together as a pack. It builds their confidence, expands their world and allows them time to just be a dog. It helps them exercise to keep them healthy, and eases separation anxiety.
